GracieAcademy Youtube Channel Axed by Zuffa

Ryron and Rener Gracie used to post up videos to their “GracieAcademy” Youtube account breaking down the intricacies of popular MMA submission victories. They went into great detail about how positions were achieved and what could have been done to avoid/escape the finishing hold. I really enjoyed their analysis because they explained everything in such a way that anyone could understand, even with regard to high level techniques.

I’m not sure why Zuffa decided to shut them down but it may have something to do with the introduction they do for every single video wherein they state that “their father started the ultimate fighting championship”. On the plus side, their “GracieBreakdown” account is still active. I’m wondering if they will do a breakdown of Chan Sung Jung’s Twister submission of Leonard Garcia. If not, you can always check out Eddie Bravo’s site www.10thPlanetJJ.com
